The Histria restaurant is
owned by Mr. Eugena (Mario) Fabrisa, who has attained his vast
culinary knowledge in his many years of working at the tourism
company Plava Laguna Poreč, then one of the largest tourism companies
in Croatia.
In 1993, he achieved his
lifelong goal and opened his own restaurant.
Over the past ten years, he has created a restaurant with a recognizable
name under very harsh competition, for no where in Istria are
there as many restaurants in such a small area as in Funtana.
The restaurant has a seating
capacity of 50 persons indoors, and 130 on the terrace. Mr. Fabrisa
works side by side with his sons, whom he has patiently trained
and taught over the years; these are chefs who make every effort
to keep up with demand and competition, and lead by Mr. Fabirsa,
to avoid monotony in the menu by the frequent addition of new
meals. The auxiliary staff is also carefully selected.
The guest is the main focus
in our restaurant, and every effort is made to satisfy his wishes.
According to the owner, the true measure of a restaurant's success
is the satisfied guest. Of course, we have not forgotten the smaller
guests, who are no less important to us, and we have prepared
a special children's menu.
The restaurant is adapted
to all modern business trends, and we accept all major credit
cards: American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Diners and Maestro.
We offer our guests
a large parking lot, and pets are welcome on our terrace.
We organize New Year's Eve banquets, birthday parties and weddings,
lunches and dinners for business and excursion groups, with special
meat or fish menus available.
